When creating mental matters we wanted to do something that made people think, and made people talk. Talk about the one thing that doesn't seem that important until it ends sadly. We wanted our clothing to be the start of that conversation. Mental health is the most important thing in our lives that we let fall, but starting today, starting now that changes.
Mental Matters Founder/CEO
Latoya Henderson born in Tallahassee Florida, raised in Fort Pierce Florida by her Mother Toyanna Platt started Mental Matters LLC in Colorado Springs, Co in January 2021 in hopes to bring more awareness to those who forget that their mental matters first. Being an African American woman in todays society as well as being apart of the LBGT community, it's hard to express ourselves in a way that people can understand. One way we are able to do that is through the expression of our clothing. Mental Matters is an organization that not only cares about making the best products we can be proud of but also show support for anyone who feels like they have no one or no voice. We are here to be that voice and that inspiration. We have a long way to go but we hope in this journey we can grow to become better with your support and love.
